Innovative new design PA Series pneumatic actuators from Proval are rack & pinion design, available in both double acting and spring return types. New design actuators are equipped as standard with both opening and closing travel adjustment bolts. An important feature is the compact size generating higher torque output values.

FEATURES

Indicator - Position indicator with NAMUR fitting is convenient for mounting accessories such as limit switch box, positioner etc.
Pinion - The pinion is high-precision and integrated, made from nickel-alloy steel, fully conforming to the latest standards of ISO5211, DIN3337, NAMUR. The dimensions can be customized the stainless steel is available.
Actuator Body - Extruded aluminium alloy, hard anodised. For aggressive environments the body can be PTFE or Nickel plated.
End Caps - Die-cast aluminium, powder polyester coated or PTFE / Nickel plated for very aggressive environments.
Pistons - The twin rack pistons are made from Die-cast aluminium , hard anodized or made from galvanised Cast steel. Symmetrical mounting position, long cycle life and fast operation, reversing rotation by simply inverting the pistons.
Travel adjustment - The two independent external travel adjustment bolts can adjust plus/minus 5 deg. at both opening and closing directions easily and precisely.
High performance springs - Preloaded coated springs are made from high quality material for corrosion resistance and longer cycle life. They can be demounted safely and conveniently to satisfy different requirements of torque by changing quantity of springs.
Bearings & Guides - Made from low friction, long-life compound material, to avoid direct contact between metals. Maintenance and replacement is easy and convenient.
O-rings - NBR rubber O-rings provide trouble-free operation at standard temperature ranges. For high and low temperature applications Viton or Silicon is available.
